We've finished and tested a QFH antenna at @hswaw to capture NOAA signal at ~137 MHz. It might need some more tuning, but the polarisation alone seems to do the job: the first traces of signal were visible when the satellite (NOAA-19) was as low as 4 degrees above the horizon, even though we're in the middle of a big city! Next on the roadmap: fixing the antenna on the roof (it's not that comfortable to hold it for 15 minutes) and automating the image capture with a Pi or something ^^ 📡 #NOAA
