#ScribesAndMakers 8 Jul: How many spaces do you like after a period/full stop? One if using a bit of IT kit. Handwriting? No idea. My handwriting was bad even before. Partly dyslexia and partly a primary school headteacher who, like Gove, insisted on his own style. I'd already been taught 'joined up' writing at a different school but in his empire I was too young. When we were permitted to write 'joined up', we had to use the weird capital Ts I'd never seen except in old manuscripts. I hate writing in caps but sometimes it is the only way people can read my handwriting.
