UK folk, as we find ourselves in 30+C temperatures again, this is a reminder to check your medicines for appropriate storage temperatures. You’ll find that many of them shouldn’t be stored above 25C, so get them in the fridge 👍❄️💊

@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social Yup, well worth checking, 25° seems to be an industry standard max temp for many meds.

@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social Check labels as some will also not be stable at refrigerator temperatures either. A wine fridge would work well for those who have them though.

@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social Because. of humidity many medications ⚠️ Can NOT be stored in the fridge ! Check with your pharmacist about each medication your taking and how to store it if you don't have AC and the weather is excessively hot. Never keep meds in a bathroom, or near a window. Always store meds in dark, cool, dry location. Never leave meds in a hot car. When outside in the heat keep meds in a small cooler bag but do NOT expose it to ice. Cold and dampness can be as damaging as heat.
