Been working at locations on Detroit's East side this week. Last week when these were assigned I was a little put off by the driving distance from the house. Today I'm glad for it. Woke up this morning and turned on the news, and it seems, somehow, all the "issues" in the city (car accidents, shootings, etc) occurred on the West side overnight, which hopefully means I (hopefully) won't need to play traffic games to get to the work location. Of course, I wish people would cool off and not shoot at each other over trivial bullshit, but that's not realistic.
