I have converted mine to e-pub via Libre Office and Calibre.
It is a fiddly process, and formatting does not, necessarily, survive as you want it.
I think there is a programme called Sigil that can convert, but I've not tried it.
I would tend to do it myself even when uploading to KDP or Kobo, as, at least, I know it will end up as near as possible to how I want it, rather than trusting their processes.
But I do nothing overly complicated like links, footnotes...

@SJAsh_03@mastodon.sdf.org I can use / have used LibreOffice and Calibre. I was hoping to avoid the fiddly bits as my enthusiasm for technicalities wanes with age. But maybe I should try it properly.
