@killyourfm@layer8.space wow these are incredible pictures!! What is the ring of rocks in the Chicago Lakes Trail? Something that was put up by hikers over time?

@McNeely@indieweb.social It's called a labyrinth. They're typically used as a sort of walking / guided meditation. You set your mind on something (gratitude, peace, etc) and focus on that as you go through it. I'm honestly not sure who built it, but it was adjacent to private property near the reservoir in the photo. I'll try to get a video published soon with a closer look at it!
