probably the least unattainable dream home situation for me is to buy a ram promaster and meticulously convert it into a home, then buy some empty, unimproved land in the middle of nowhere, park it there, and invite my friends to come similarly settle my land with me

if we all settle there in vans or trailer homes or what have you, then we'd all be comfortable in our own little spaces already anyway, so we could slowly build other stuff around the place. set up a solar farm, a vegetable farm, a little community center, a radio telescope, that kind of thing
