How can I be more disappointed in the world? We are being ground into dust by the most boring and sometimes awful people. And an army of hapless lackies just locking the shackles to their own ankles because “you can’t stop progress”.

We have these magical and amazing machines and we’ve made everything so miserable to use and we’ve made a million little papercuts that prevent you from generally doing something interesting with them. It’s lack of imagination at the system level at best, and it’s active suppression of creativity and ability at its worst.
