The company I work for had outages last week. Today it is Australia's biggest mobile network. Last month was another telco. Cloudflare had issues, Github.. well, picking a few. One problem with IT is that one cannot check the quality like you do when one shapes a wheel. If it isn't round you will find out soon. This makes it possible to ignore staff, making decisions which lower the quality etc. And one can "save" a lot. Until it falls apart. #SysAdmin
