The "Stop buying avocado" crowd have some new idols.
I feel this ignores the 20% of the population who eats packed lunches everyday for 50 years and then survives on a state pension if they are lucky enough not to have picked up a work place injury or illness shortening their life.
They are the modern equivalent of that chap who drank the dregs out of left over beers, picked fag butts out of the gutter and collected cans. Only to die a millionaire, alone.

I guess what I'm saying is live your own life and don't compare yourself to people who can afford to save a million quid by not turning their heating on and taking packed lunches because that's a luxury many, many people will never have.
