@cap_ybarra@beige.party I fully failed up for most of my career as a white male developer. I died have the benefit of learning and growing beyond the position I was in, in many ways. Then with growth, isn't that position to advocate for things like not trusting models to vet job applications as that tends to entrench the bias of the training data.
It is not enough, but I recognize the privileges afforded to me, and can try to extended ladders and refuse fictions regarding "correct ways to learn X tech" and "must have this much green squares on github" or "linked in profile with this much connections"
