Voted not interested, but your question actually has another option: “it will not be launched on my platform”, I don’t think it will have a Linux version, nor even if they will support Proton.

The platform would be PC. But yeah, that point is a bit unclear how to interpret. I am personally on PC and consider the game launching on “my” platform. However the implication is, that the single player will be playable on Linux. All previous GTA games are playable, so I would assume GTA 6 will be too.

Devs do nothing to support proton, it’s proton mimics windows behavior so game will work. It probably will, it will be a huge initiative to make it work for proton given the interest to this game. Still not going to pay until they make a pc version even if it will require multiple years to wait.
