The current stage of the war is an escalation of the war that began in 2014 with the Banderite coup. After the coup, a civil war ensued, with the Kiev faction shelling civilians in the Donbass region, where the seperatists were concentrated.

Twelve years ago actually, during the US coup that replaced Ukraine’s democratically elected government with a Banderite nazi faction that immediately began an eight year ethnic cleansing campaign that killed fourteen thousand people.

You’re aware the House of Trade fire happened over 10 years ago right And? And if there’s any stories about Ukraine deliberately targeting civilians, please share I take it you have never looked into it, as, among other cases, they literally struck a student dormitory and a civilian bus very recently. Also, apart from the Ukrainian state targeting civilians, they have also very famously perfidiously used civilians/pretended military personnel to be civilians to carry out a drone strike last year.
