“Law enforcement officers will be controlling access to and from affected areas to protect property and ensure the safety of homeowners, utility crews, and first responders working in the impacted locations,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. The two people that were hospitalized are expected to be okay. An emergency shelter has been set up by the Red Cross at M State College for anyone in need of help. Local officials are asking residents and visitors to avoid the Floyd Lake area.
