18 months into medical transition, I find myself dreaming about having joined the women's soccer team — it was lovely. Then I woke and had to confront the political reality that trans girls and women are less free than we were just a few years ago, and that too many people I love have fallen prey to the right-wing psy-op, the thin end of the wedge, that is the trans people in sports "debate."
