@sharpcheddargoblin@reclusive.blog Yes. Most of things an average person has in their home are unethical. Clothes from sweat shops in Bangladesh. Beef from industrial factories. Eggs from caged hens. Etc. AI is one of many. Is your phone, probably made by Foxconn, ethical?

@emilion@infosec.exchange Right, the basic "no ethical consumption under capitalism" idea. The problem here is "AI" is relatively new and can (should) be rejected at every turn. I can't stop eating, best I can do is source better where possible. I can refuse to use "AI". We can say no to "AI". We can also say fuck off.
