Farage is outlining this as the people versus the establishment. When he's been part of the political establishment for about three decades.
It seems he was likely advised in advance that he was facing suspension long enough to trigger a recall petition, as the Standards Committee has been investigating his previous £5 million bung from a crypto billionaire that he didn't declare.
This is the same move BoJo the Clown pulled before the Standards Committee published their findings against him.

If the other parties were smart, they would look for an anti-corruption candidate to rally around and make it clear that's the reason. The Tories and in particular Kemi Badenoch are too stupid and egotistical to even consider it, and would declare the other parties scared if they encouraged people to hold their noses and vote Tory. So hopefully there's someone out there prepared to take up that position, besides Count Binface.
