Reason no. 2 "why I like being autistic" My unusual empathy. 💟 Autistic empathy can be intense! It tends to also be pretty democratic: for people, animals, and even objects. Our empathy often isn't interested in hierarchies - and doesn't exclude those who don’t appear useful or successful in society. #AutisticEmpathy 3/11

@KatyElphinstone@mas.to I have a ton of insights that nobody around me would seem to have in 1000 years. 100x sooner do I turn to myself for insights, not others. In my IRL world, virtually nobody will share insights with me, unless they have some sort of profit motive, some personal gain behind it. The lowest-quality source of info, are the people around me.
