OR, you can just roll it into a ball and who the fuck cares if you're the only one sleeping on that fitted sheet.
OR you can be super thrifty, only own 1 fitted sheet, and put it right back on the bed after you wash it.
Which is what most of the world has to do. #foldingafittedsheet

@Remittancegirl@mstdn.social I fit in the ball rolling option but I now feel compelled to try folding properly. Previously it’s quickly balled up and hidden in a draw with the rest of the folded bedding on top of it and I forget about it, but this discussion has taken hold in my head now! #AuDHD

I feel the need to underscore this. The quandary of how to fold a fitted sheet is predicated on the privilege of having more than one fitted sheet. There is no virtue in having this dilemma. It is entirely a way to cope with excess. Most people in the world only have one fitted sheet. They wash it, dry it, and put it back on the bed. #foldingafittedsheet
