The Monkees "Valleri" US Colgems/RCA 1968
The Monkees are an interesting group; yes, they were made for TV, but they did develop into fine singers and musicians. This was their final US Top 10 single, peaking at #3 in the Billboard charts. The flip side is "Tapioca Tundra", written by Mike Nesmith, showing the more adventurous side of the band.
