@gregeganSF@mathstodon.xyz once again women do the gruntwork that enables the research. I am glad she followed up and Sigler may have been a committed feminist for all I know, but the pattern leaped out at me.

@oddhack@mstdn.social @gregeganSF@mathstodon.xyz I think that a lot of the erasure of women's roles in tech history may come from men recording history who have discomfort in acknowledging their own needs, and some have discomfort in acknowledging team contributions at all. I think guys getting emotionally confident and comfortable leads to more accurate history and representation.
