Plaster Head - “The Cult is a Work in Progress” (2025) Interesting new post-hardcore punk rock trio from New Jersey. This is their only album, and this is my favorite track. I hear a lot of mid-80s indie rock mixed with some early 80s post-punk (angular guitars, some clean, some highly distorted). The modern sound gives it a real punch too. The one review on this BC page says this is the new Fugazi. C’mon, man! It's good, but let's not get crazy here.
