Please, I need to know a place that's really beautiful, convenient to live in, but is not overhyped and full of tourists. Tell me about it in the replies so I can travel there!

@odoruhako@mastodon.social Deep South Texas is lovely for some people. South Padre Island is the most touristy (very few for most of the year), but Hidalgo County etc. are pretty awesome (though YMMV very much)
