I was tempted when I saw that ALIEN³ is showing in Somerville
buuuuut it turns out that The Brattle (which I still haven't been to!) is doing a weeklong series of Harry Dean Stanton's films…
and ALIEN is showing…
…as a double feature with ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK

ALIEN³ is underrated and a mess because of all the studio interference with the production, but ALIEN is easily in my top 3 films, and I've never seen it in a theatre, so…
