What do you think: paper wasp or yellow jacket? I already got too close once.

@jerzone@techhub.social A cool night and darkness slows them down a lot. Soapy water will kill them. It plugs up their breathing. I had a yellow jacket nest under a house eave years ago. I put a large pan of soapy water on the ground underneath it. Then shot it with the garden house till it came loose and fell in the pan of soapy water. Had another ground version just ~25 feet away. I put the Shop Vac hose by the entrance and let it run for half-hour or so. Dumped 5 gallons of soapy water on it that evening and laid a board over it. Just some ideas for you...
