If there were any doubt the world is in a hybrid war and global arms race, Fiona E. Murray & Robert Murray's commentary, published in @thejapantimes@mastodon.social today, should put them to rest.
Opening with the example of #Canada's transition in WWII from a non-militarized state to "a military-industrial powerhouse," she then proposes a framework for #NATO nations to undergo a similar transition only faster, deeper, more nimble.
It is terrifying. This is where we are.

@Amgine@mamot.fr @thejapantimes@mastodon.social Not just military, we need to sever the cables of the internet being exploited by the fascist espionage and capturing those within that suffer fascist ideations and worldviews. Hybrid warfare cannot be defeated with force only.
