Yeah, felt more like route finding at times, especially when there was no clear direction to go at times. Same experience a few years ago when I hiked in the Great Gulf Wilderness on the other side of Mt Washington.
Can’t believe how fast some people go over the boulders, especially those doing the entire Presidential Traverse. I am definitely “slow and steady” over terrain like this.
