@Sheril@mastodon.social Love this. I've mucked around with pine rosin myself which I believe is similar, mixing it with varying amounts of vegetable oil lets you tune the viscosity. Haven't yet found a use for this knowledge yet but it was fun. edit: actually, I did find something possibly useful: storing this stuff is annoying because it sticks to its container real well. To avoid this you can store it in a jar filled with very salty water, it sinks in plain water but if you increase the density it floats.
