I know all the tech people know this, but just in case: if you have the choice between an internet connected thing and one that isn't, pick the one that isn't. I get that it's not always a choice, for money or disabilty reasons. And if you happen to be a policy or law influencing person, for the love of God would you please crate decent security, privacy and data use rules, with teeth, for IoT products?
