I had a conversation with a local who moved here as an infant with his parents who fled Castro. I have thought many times in recent days of my elder neighbors during a former life when I was married. We lived in a neighborhood that was formerly a naval base. It's a very nice neighborhood and our neighbors were fairly well off. They had fled Castro. And now I think of this narrow vote in the Supreme Court over birthright citizenship and how Rubio himself may not have been considered a citizen.
