@ianvisits@mastodonapp.uk I'm from the USA, but I watch a lot of UK films and TV shows. It seems that pub visiting is a major pastime and social mixer! In the TV show Hope Street, I was very surprised that the police staff regularly go to the neighborhood pub after a working day.
