I'm almost at the point where I hate data centers more than I hate the actual technology itself. Because as awful as the slop machines are for the damage to the digital environment, that's quickly becoming eclipsed by the damage to our actual environment—an absolutely inexcusable outcome in an era when we are dealing with the deadly effects of climate change.
