Inflation is also rising artificially in #Portugal with a scheme that has already failed in Scotland, Malta, the Netherlands or Ireland. As always, "Volta" starts by charging more for plastic packaging and then eventually you can redeem it. But there's no incentive to make redemption actually work, so you just get charged more. Everybody profits except you. Let the boycotts begin.
