Yesterday I noticed that one of the heads of a sunflower out on my front stoop was getting raided before the petals had even fallen off. Based on my keen knowledge of the sunflower's natural predators, I developed a theory and I staked out the front door with a camera. Today's small friend is this yellow bandit, caught orange-beaked after returning to the scene of the crime. 💛 🖤 🤍🧡 #Pittsbirds #backyardbirding #birds #birdsofMastodon
