Despite that, wow there's a lot of fireworks. I desperately want to go yell at the people cheering them on and ask what in the fuck they're celebrating, really.

I don't want to stop them cheering, either. That's cop shit; kill the cop in your head. I just want them to tell me *to my face* what's so worth celebrating right now.
