I need a new TV stand/unit thing. Our existing IKEA laminated chipboard monstrosity was built for an era of bluray players and slimline consoles, with drawers underneath for storage. I now want to use it to hold all our living room electronics, including a chunky wifi router and an even bigger Xbox Series X. The snag is, there are no easy options. Everything has alcoves that are too narrow, or drawer space where I need cupboards. It’s infuriating.
