@ArabellaLovejoy@mastodonapp.uk the trick with Spanish bluebells is getting the bulbs out. The stems tend to break off leaving the bulbs in the ground. They can be quite small too. I had the best luck just digging up the clumps and then dumping them onto a screen (what we call hardware cloth in the US, about 6-8mm square) then screening the soil back into the hole and catching the bulbs. It's a lot of work but it is possible.
