04/07/2026 - 3 buses to get to Pitmedden Garden and all I got was a turnip sawfly! I did see a few more bugs to be honest. I'd gone for hoverflies but it was pretty overcast whilst there and those hoverflies are proper sun worshipers so there wasn't much about. I did see a furry dronefly which was nice. Plenty bumblebees and wasps too. The garden is a peaceful place to spend a day. The flowers are lovely. The buses there and back too are good. The journey is through some lovely countryside.
