I watched the parade here at Lopez Island. There was a model T that had a "Happy 250th Birthday" banner on it with a photo of Donald Trump at the bottom. I booed. Loudly. And then I yelled "No Kings in America!" numerous times so loudly that I made myself hoarse. My throat still hurts an hour later. Afterwards, some women who had been watching from across the road came over to thank me. I felt patriotic. #HappyBirthdayUSA Remember that this country started when we just said NO to a tyrant.
