Read Rakesfall by Vajra Chandrasekera as my book where the character’s gender is not fixed (here through a series of reincarnations), and I think this is the wildest ride I have been on. Delightfully so. I know some things passed me by, but while you need to be awake, this is amazing.

Read Amy Chu and Soo Lee’s take on Carmilla as my horror from the margins. I am a horror wimp but I could manage this. Not simply an adaptation of Le Fanu, I must stress.
