Read Sarah Cypher’s marvellous The Skin and Its Girl as my queer work from/about/by someone from Palestine and wholly recommend it. It flows like a dream, and paints people rather than characters.

Read the always marvellous Rabih Alameddine’s Koolaids as my book set in illness/pandemics. It serves a constellation of AIDS and the Lebanese civil war in a chaotic and horrifying but also funny and lovely set of characters, stories, and genres. Fragmented but wholly excellent. #bookstodon 🏳️🌈
