@Gaolaitch@cupoftea.social oh, I don’t think I know the difference between a novella and a short story. But I do have a collection of short stories I bought fairly recently by a fave author, I just forgot I’d got it. Okay, remembering might be the real problem here 😅

@SquirrelwithaninvisibleW@mastodon.social Haha. What I was trying to get at is just shorter novels: short stories are different beasts, and I don’t always read them carefully enough. They seem to need more effort from me. But try anything short, yeah. Worth the experiment.
