I may be having an existential crisis over finding out there is an African country I never knew existed, Cabo Verde. I feel like this is some kind of Mandela effect Bernstein bears kind of thing. I've been looking at maps since I was a baby, how could I miss this.

@abolisyonista@ni.hil.ist I only became aware of cape verde when working in Boston with some folks from there. The island of it all sometimes makes it a little hidden on, or exempted from, many maps of Africa (at least in my experience)
