Well, I *did* reboot Sundial in January after all, but only because of an extended power outage that outlasted my UPS¹. Still no B770 GPU announcement from Intel, or even a date for the B70 Pro.
BUT
All the other machines in the household fleet are now running kernel 6.19.6, *on Debian Stable*². stable-backports is tracking 14 days³ behind the tip of the kernel⁴. That is AMAZING.

Whether a consumer B770 GPU ever ships is now an open question. The follow-up architecture, Celestial, is still planned, but RAM pricing and timing might make a mid-range GPU in this generation a poor risk. But the workstation B70 was announced! Supposed to ship in early April. Apparently not in large volumes though. My local large retail chain was set to receive a single one. (And now they're set to hand it to me when it arrives.) I hope that blower fan isn't too loud.
