Update: the one Intel Arc B70 Pro received by my local shop is now mine! Now to schedule a maintenance window for the household server so I can swap out its failing CPU cooler fans and swap in the B580 that will be free for rehoming after the B70 is installed.

The ol' GPU hermit crab swaperoo will finally put a Displayport/HDMI output in the household server, meaning I'll be able to retire the VGA to HDMI converter I have running from its ASpeed BMC into my monitor. Or rather I'll be about to repurpose that VGA converter for the small fleet of retrocomputers I'm planning to bring online this season. And the USB-PD trigger dongle I picked up means I'll be able to replace its power brick, too. I love it when a plan comes together! 😁
