The Go ecosystem is getting better, but I still find stuff like this frequently enough that I complain about it on the internet. 😄

@jamie@zomglol.wtf Yeah, no, that's not even a _thought_. I mean, it's obviously a function but not only can I not intuit what it does there's no way in hell I'd ever know _why_ it does what it does. --- There exists a set of folks whose goal is to make things happen and there exists a set of folks whose goal is to explain why we want or need a thing to happen. I find the latter more useful than the former.
