Took a drive around the neighborhood tonight (trash and recycling tomorrow) for cardboard for my backyard mulching project. Got two car-loads full, not even a mile radius from home.
But what struck me was how BRIGHT everyone's outdoor lights are. And even when I tripped their lights by driving by, no one came out to look. So what's the point of all that light pollution? Certainly did not deter me from "stealing" their cardboard! (I did not open any cans, just took what was in plain view.)

Results of my cardboard scrounging last night. Two loads. I didn't plan it this way, but I think I benefited from going out on the next recycling day after Prime Day. I will say that my neighbors in my housing development are better at flattening boxes than my neighbors a little further away. After removing as much tape as I can, I'll lay this down and cover with a thick layer of woodchips to help suppress weeds and vines in the back yard. Then plant with natives. #ReUse #Recycle #Gardening
