@davatron5000@mastodon.social I lived there for 17 years. He's only one century flood away from being denied an insurance claim. With climate shift, would you imagine those odds having gotten better? What about his neighbors he's also inadvertently exposing to risk?

@Beggarmidas@mastodon.social did you see the video? He’s cutting a very shallow curb. It’s not like he knocked over a retention wall and diverted an entire river to his property. Apparently the little curb was enough to handle whatever flash flooding they get and now some of the rainwater that flows along the road gets into his property, that’s all that’s happening.
