@doener@social.tchncs.de the pictures in those articles are #ai generated #fiberoptic #cables in #germany are usually #orange and you are lucky if companies are incentivized enough to put them in the ground, because the #copper #strategy of #telekom was a #catastrope but it was probably because #stockmarket #investors prefer #dividends over #investment in #infrastructure to make sure the #telekom still exists tomorrow #poland neither has #copper nor #fibre and does all over massive 100dB #wifi on every house pretty cool actually
