@monkey@brain.worm.pink yeah i opened the steam news and they were acting like twitch "hype trains" were some kind of benefit and they were helpin out the gays by bringing even more cancer to the platform i gotta figure out the secret to getting away with this shit because i don't do nearly as much of this and everyone hates me :blobcatgoogly:

@monkey@brain.worm.pink i think part of whats pissing me off is in part like back in the day it was like "hey pick out one of these neat starter avatars people put out here" and now it's just like "GIVE US MONEY GIVE GIVE DEFAULT SHOW ONLY MTX" and i'm just like i wanna throw the executives off a bridge and i haven't even been back online a full minute. i have some old old avatar from the beforetimes that actually has like sound effects and a custom hud overlay with animated features and shit. in second life you can at least buy parts and tinker with your avatar a bit. shirts from one store, hair from another, fiddle with the textures. here they're tripping over themselves to cram mtx in my face, but i'm just buying a rental for a dead model i can't customize at all? why the fuck do people love this game so much
